SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the functions of the General Administration Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job Specific
Manages headquarters employee food service operations
Oversees headquarter office general maintenance. Ensures office building equipment (Ex: tele-phones, kitchen equipment, HVAC, washing machine, snow removal) are in good working order
Ensures that all office areas are routinely cleaned and well maintained
Ensures that parking lot areas are well maintained and vehicles are parked in an orderly fashion
Responsible for purchasing of small items and supplies for kitchen and general office use
Sources and manages garbage disposal services for the Brooklyn and LIC factories
Sources and manages pest control services for Brooklyn, LIC and Plainview factories.
Responsible for snow removal at the Brooklyn and LIC facilities.
Manages government agency inspections (Ex: Fire Dept., Building Dept., Sanitation Dept.)
Responsible for annual company car inspections and any auto accident reporting.
Other special projects, as necessary

General Management
Encourage and direct subordinates in training, teamwork, and implementation in Lean principles, tools, and techniques.
Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, motivation, empowering, and evaluating employees including conflict resolution and disciplinary action. Demonstrate the characteristic of caring to the direct reports, and encourage employees to care for each other & the company.
Ensure effective utilization of human resources including appropriate workload, work schedules and performance management
Execute safety and security policies, and ensure that work place is organized and equipment is well maintained.
Ensure effective interdepartmental teamwork, communication and coordination.
Other duties and assignments as directed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
AAS degree in Business or a related field (2 year college or technical/trades school)
Min. 2 - 4 years related experience, preferably in a technical or food manufacturing environment
Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies in the food industry is a plus
Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite
Must have thorough reading/writing/speaking knowledge of English and Chinese
